Our Journey So Far
August 2017: The Beginning
Our campervan journey started when we rented a VW T6 called Sebastian for a week-long adventure. That first trip opened our eyes to the possibilities of van life and family travel. The freedom to explore at our own pace, wake up in beautiful locations, and create memories together made us realize this was something we wanted to pursue long-term.
2018: Buying Our First Van
Inspired by our rental experience, we purchased our first VW Transporter in 2018. This marked the beginning of our hands-on campervan ownership journey.
Summer 2020: Meet Gino
Our current van, Gino, is a stunning Neptune Blue VW T4 that we purchased and completely restored. The restoration included:
- Complete re-conversion from the ground up
- Rust repairs and bodywork
- Fresh paint in Neptune Blue
- Full interior build-out
Gino was featured in VWt Magazine's October 2020 edition, highlighting our restoration work and conversion approach.
